Can I bring my kids?

Of course! All children who were listed on the formal invitations are more than welcome to attend the wedding. Please keep in mind that the reception will go late into the night, and make necessary childcare arrangements if you'd like to stay and party with us.
Do you have a gift registry?

We have more stuff than we need in our house already! If you would like to give us a gift, we would be grateful for any contribution towards our honeymoon fund for our upcoming trip to the Philippines. If you wish to make a contribution to our honeymoon fund, we would love to invite you to participate in our sabitan ng pera (prosperity dance). The prosperity dance is a Filipino wedding tradition that is said to bring good fortune to the newly married couple. During this dance, guests are invited to join the newlyweds on the dance floor and pin monetary gifts onto the outfits of the couple.
Can I bring a plus one?

We have limited space at our venue, and as such we are only able to allow a select few guests to bring a plus one. Your formal invitation will indicate whether we have reserved a plus one seat for you.
What are we eating?

Final menu decisions have not been made yet. We'll update this section when we have more info for you!
When do I need to RSVP by?

Please RSVP no later than June 1, 2024.

What is the dress code?

Think semi-formal! What's most important to us is that you are comfortable and feel good. The ceremony will be held outdoors, so please dress for the weather.
How far from Winnipeg is Asessippi Ski Resort?

The venue is about 4 hours outside of the city by car. More info about directions to the venue can be found here.
Where can I stay the night before and/or after the wedding?

As our venue is four hours outside of the city, we highly recommend booking accommodations at least for the night of the wedding. You can learn more about accommodation options in the area here.
Is there transportation from the wedding reception back to the hotel?

Yes! There will be a shuttle running from Asessippi Ski Resort to the Russell Inn throughout the evening.
Is there transportation from the ceremony site to the reception site?

The ceremony and reception are within walking distance of one another, transportation is not required.
